Rotting Office is a "die and retry" game where you play as an office worker at the end of his workday, trying to reach the elevator to go home. However, he is confronted by various "glitches" and other obstacles that prevent his escape. His workplace appears rotten and comes alive to kill him. 

The rules are simple: reach the elevator without being hit by the glitches or falling into hell. To escape, you must find the keys and bring them to the elevator. Each time the player dies, they restart from their office and can choose between two boosts: Dash or Jump.
